Bath National Gala Competition - Feb 2013

Posted by Cindy Hedmann on Saturday, March 2, 2013, In : Competition
Things were going well in the 19+ Fig B Grade with Carolyne achieving a Nationals place, with Kelly just outside. Unfortunately for Juliette, a mistake in her 1st routine resulted saw her relegated to grade C for the next Gala which takes place in Wales. At Gala events, the time of flight (air-time) is calculated by a machine and benefits high jumpers. The team have been working hard on clean simple routines performed very high. Towards the end of the event, the timing machine failed and so t...

It was a frustrating day for RSC at yesterday's Gillingham  May Grading, with Sophie missing out on promotion in the U15s by 0.1 and finishing 4th and Carlie missing out by just 0.4. Bethany missed promotion by 0.9 in the U13 grade G, & Jess missed out on promotion to National level C, despite achieving the required score & coming 3rd. Posted by Cindy Hedmann on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, In : Competition

The National Championships were held this weekend in Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.

The Team of Katie, Kia and Juliette, all put in some solid performances to hold of the determined challenge of the Edgebarrow team, to win the Ladies National Team title.  Individually, Kia & Juliette were desperately unlucky with some of the judging, and Juliette ended up missing the final by only 0.1.  So although no individual glory this time, many congratulations to the girls on their fantastic achi...

RSC took a full squad to the Grading held at the Gillingham Rebound centre.  This was a rescheduled event as the original was flooded out.  There was panic as torrential  overnight rain in the Gillingham area led organisers to fear that the event might be flooded again, but happily the it did go ahead.

Cheynne bouncing in the U15 D section was attempting to achieve a promotion point and qualify back up to National grade C.  Being one of the youngest of the 10 competitors it was always going t...

A small band from RSC travelled to Perth in Scotland this weekend to take part in the Scotland Gala.  Many congratulations to Katie, who kept her nerve throughout a re-bounce, (which was allowed after a competitor from another trampoline crashed during her routine visibly putting Katie off), to end the prelims in 4th place and therefore qualify for the 19+ National Championships which was excellent news. Carolyne made a major mistake in her voluntary having competed a very good first round to...
