DWH & NTL 3 at Gillingahm Oct - 14

For the fourth weekend running RSC members were involved in a competition, and once again came away with some fantastic results. This weekend it was the National Trampoline League (Qualifier) at Gillingham. Also taking place in the main Gillingham sports-centre was the club international event - the Dave Ward Hunt (DWH) Memorial competition.

Megan put in a really solid performance to win the 17/18 girls League 3 event which combined with her Cardiff performance makes her an almost certainty to qualify for the League final in December. Valentina also picked up big qualifying points, qualifying for Saturday's final in 5th, but slipping back to equal 6th in the final.

Katherine scored big points in Cardiff and followed up with points for 20th place this weekend. Annabel, Bethany and Nayna scored less well in Cardiff but scored big points this weekend ending in 9th, 10th and 11th respectively. All four girls will be right on the cusp of the top 24 points scorers (using your best two scores) who will be invited to the National finals so with one event to go (which we are not attending) we'll cross our fingers and have to hope for the best.

Lydia took part in the League 2 event which was incorporated into the DWH international and put in a solid performance to finish 11th on the day however points will be allocated after the event and we'll have to wait and see for the final result. Kia and Kelly both competed in the DWH international Level 1 hardly putting a foot wrong through all three routines ending just of the podium in 4th and 5th respectively. Again, league points will be added later but with strong performances here to follow up big results in Cardiff, both girls should have secured sufficient points for an invite to the finals.

Ralph also competed in the Level 1 (15/16 group) and had a bit of a disaster on the day but may still qualify for the League finals following a strong showing in Cardiff.

A massive thank you to Jess, who travelled down from her new home in Scotland to coach on the day and also to Cindy and to Lydia who helped Jess look after the League 3 team (with their great results) whilst I spent much of the day in the DWH international.

So well done to all RSC bouncers and with the final qualifier taking place next weekend in Liverpool, we'll know soon enough who has earned a much sought after invitation to the National League Final in December. Fingers crossed for all of you!
