Regional Grading held at the Rebound Centre 11 October 2009

There were some great results for RSC members at the Regional grading held at the Rebound Centre Gillingham this weekend.

Sophie Alyward won the preliminaries of the regional U19D and in doing so earned 1 point towards promotion to the national grade C - Sophie now only requires 1 additional point for promotion.  Although Sophie's total score was the highest of the day, this season the finals start from zero, and cruelly Sophie missed out on a medal despite having the highest overall score.

Alex fared a little better in the U13 Grade E event, winning comfortably although needing a good second round to come from behind to take the title.

There was over 70 competitors in the U13 Grade G girls event, nevertheless the team of Sophie (TF), Carlie, Megan and Danielle put in really fine performances - Sophie top scored for the team on 44.4 to finish in a creditable 15th place.

Thanks to Tracy for judging, Cindy and Sophie A for coaching, and also to Jane from Tolworth who helped looked after Danielle. Well done everyone, a great set of results!!
