RSC Ladies are National Team Champions

The National Championships were held this weekend in Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.

The Team of Katie, Kia and Juliette, all put in some solid performances to hold of the determined challenge of the Edgebarrow team, to win the Ladies National Team title.  Individually, Kia & Juliette were desperately unlucky with some of the judging, and Juliette ended up missing the final by only 0.1.  So although no individual glory this time, many congratulations to the girls on their fantastic achievement.

Carolyne had qualified for the National C category which was a large group of evenly matched competitors which resulted in a closely fought event.  Carolyne put in a very strong first round and a good voluntary, however was just short of the score needed to make the final. It was hard luck for Carolyne whose fine effort deserved more!  Rosie had also qualified for the National C Category but withdrew through injury.

Well done to all 4 girls who had worked extremely hard preparing for the event, and were all a credit to RSC on the day. A big thank you to Laura, Lydia, Naomi & Lauren who travelled to Birmingham to provide team support and assistance.

So once again, congratulations to the 2009 Over 19 Ladies National team champions!
