Surrey Championships

There were individual wins for Kia and Ralph at this weekend's Surrey championships as well as a host of podium places and team medals following some great RSC performances.
Kia won the 19+ Ladies event with Kelly in 2nd place. Katie helped the team beat the challenge from Gatwick to win the Ladies team event. Ralph put on a great display to win the U19 boys with Alex H in second. In the U15 girls Annabel missed out on gold by 0.1, to come second and a great performance by Nayna saw her win the bronze medal. Beth recovered from a faulty set with a great vol to help the U15 team to a brilliant silver medal. The U19 girls was a really tough event and Alex jumped really well to finish 7th as did Megan to finish 8th. Valentina & Melissa helped the U19 team to win the bronze medal. Chris Malley took silver (in the U11 boys) as did brother George beating a group of Gatwick and Max Force boys to come second in the U13.

So some excellent performances all round with many members trying new routines were rewarded with a clutch of medals.
A big thank you to our officials on the day: - Heather, Laura, Diane, Lynda, Ralph, Megan, Carlie, Alex, and Cindy.
