blogs back on line now so watch out for a roundup from the Surreys which the whole club is involved in - good luck everyone!

Nationals...well was great catching up with lots of bouncers from the past!

Congrats to Sophie TF who qualified at the gradings from G to F and well done to the London Youth Team - our youngest team ever for a very credible 8th place!

It was a mixed day for the team from Rock Steady at this weekend's Gala event held in Cardiff.
In the FIG B grade, Carolyne used a new routine which was her personal best for the difficulty (8.5).   She was rewarded by qualifying for Nationals and a place in the final on the day, eventually ending up in 7th place.  Katie narrowly missed qualifying for Nationals by the small matter of 0.4.  Kia jumped in the Elite Ladies A grade and after a disappointing set affected in part by nerves, she pulled out a great 2nd round routine, but failed to qualify for Nationals in the Elite section.  (Kia has already qualified in the FIG B section).  In the National grade C section,
Lauren put in 2 good routines to qualify for Nationals to be held in July.  Jo, Juliette & Lydia, were the other RSC members competing on the day but despite their best efforts, didn't achieve Nationals on the day.  Thank you to Laura, who enjoyed a day judging at this highest level. Well done all, and special congratulations to Carolyne & Lauren for your superb achievements.

Update from today's grading - Sophie TF qualifies up to grade F, and Alex qualifies up to Grade D - Many congratulations to you both!!  Right, now off to the slopes...
