Lindsay Hedmann, RSC's Chief Coach who has nearly 40 years involvement in trampolining, was extremely proud to be one of the official spotters at the Olympic 2012 trampolining. The spotters were hand picked and were people who were experienced in trampolining and coaching and all had given years of dedication to trampolining. They are positioned around the trampoline and have to catch or stop the competitors falling off if they go wrong - no mean feat when they are jumping at over 10 metres and performing many triple somersaults.
The Olympic trampolining took place on 3rd & 4th August at the North Greenwich Arena and had British interest with Kat Driscoll who finished 9th (just 0.01 off the final).
